Recession & Banks

Its amazing how much banks have shrunk in size within one year, how many companies have gone bankrupt and how share markets seem to have decided that they can't go up whatever the case! :P

 

I think this image will clarify the state banks are currently in, very well.

But what amazes me the most is that some major banks have still handed out bonuses to their employees!! It's just hilarious! President Obama, for various reasons, has heavily criticised the move. It was these bank employees who thought short term and brought on the financial crisis (not to mention the sub-prime mortgage fiasco and the fact that US runs on credit) and they are still receiving bonuses!! And here I'm not even sure if I'll still have a job next month! Shame on these bankers!

Dear God, please let the latest project be awarded to my company!! I need a job to keep a roof over my head!
